The Problem We Solve
Healthcare marketers are stuck between two bad options. Enterprise compliance platforms work but they cost tens of thousands of dollars per year — pricing that shuts out most clinics, regional health systems, and specialty practices. The alternative is cobbling together tools and hoping your GA4 setup isn’t leaking PHI. Neither option is acceptable.
Sounder exists because we watched this play out with our own clients for years and decided to build the thing that should already exist: affordable, managed HIPAA-compliant marketing infrastructure.
How Sounder is Different
Sounder is a product of Pilot Digital, a B Corp-certified agency that’s been working in healthcare marketing since 2009. We didn’t build Sounder as a SaaS startup looking for a market. We built it because our clients needed it and nothing affordable existed.

We structured Sounder as a separate brand intentionally. If your agency handles your SEO or paid media, the last thing they want is another agency in the picture. We get it — we’re an agency too.
Sounder operates as your compliance infrastructure partner, not your marketing strategist. We work alongside your existing agency (or your internal team) to make sure the tracking and analytics layer is HIPAA-safe. We’re not competing for your marketing budget. We’re protecting it.
Why the Name, Sounder?
The name comes from nautical sounders — depth-finding instruments that boat pilots have used for centuries to measure what’s beneath the surface and ensure safe passage. Sounder does the same thing for healthcare marketing data: we help you see the hidden tracking risks, compliance gaps, and privacy exposures you didn’t know were there.
And we’d like to think we offer a sounder solution to our small to medium-sized healthcare organizations.
